Jess Ruliffson is an award-winning illustrator and cartoonist. She's currently making a comic book based on interviews with veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Hailing from the deep south, she has a love for banjo picking and front porches. She lives and works in Brooklyn, where she draws interesting things under the close supervision of her cat, Pascal.
